The Harbour House team would like to wish you all the happiest of Christmases! We will be closed tomorrow so that we can all spend time with our families (particularly the new Grandad on the team!) So we hope you all have a great day and we look forward to seeing you soon. We will be back to work at midday on Boxing day and getting ready for a brilliant New Years Eve party. Hotel re-model

We will be closing our hotel accomodation & bistro throughout January and February for phase 2 of our hotels beautiful makeover. When finished all of our accomodation will be to internationally recognised very high standards as guests who have stayed in our refurbished rooms this year have testified (see Tripadvisor). We will still be able to offer accomodation during this period in our new apartments next to the hotel.

New for 2012 we have, in the planning stage, a spectacular development to the front elevation of hotel, to provide a covered terrace overlooking the beach and harbour, where you will be able to wine and dine in the most unique atmosphere available anywhere in south-west Scotland! Check back for more developments.

Self Catering Apartments

We are pleased to announce that our three self catering apartments are nearing completion. These are attached to the Harbour House Hotel so occupants can have the freedom of self catering and still enjoy all the benefits of the hotel's facilities. Golf Packages Now Available

The Harbour House is now happy to be able to offer winter golf packages. A night at the hotel including breakfast and a round of Golf at Dunskey Golf Course for only £45.00 per person per night when booked through the hotel. We can also offer a round at Stranraer Golf Course for a supplement of £12.50. This offer is available from the 1st of November to the 29th of February not including Bank and Public Holidays. Portpatrick RNLI Gets A New Boat

We are looking forward to welcoming the Portpatrick Lifeboat crew to the hotel after they bring the new £2.7 million Tamar class lifeboat back to its new base of operations. The boat is expected to arrive tomorrow at midday. More information about the boat can be found at their site
