| The Harbour House Hotel, Portpatrick, prides
itself on its home cooking, wide range of malt whisky, fine wine and a
varied choice of beers from around the world. Much of the produce that we
use is fresh local produce in season; Galloway Beef, locally caught crab,
mackeral and lobster, fine game from local sources, smoked produce from
local smokehouses... Single Malt whisky reflects the region or island it was distilled in. The taste can range from strong smokey peat flavours with a hint of the ocean to mild mellow malts with a lighter touch. The Harbour House Hotel carries a good range of single malts as well as blended malts; Scottish, Irish and even - dare we say it - a few well known American bourbons...! Our range of beers and lagers is good too. We frequently have guest ales, alongside the regular beer and lagers, and carry a good range of imported lagers and beers.
